Delicious Pain: Spears’ Injuries Not Season Threatening

Marcus Spears’ right leg injuries are extensive, but not half as severe as originally feared. Spears suffered a high ankle sprain, a pulled groin and a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL) after being rolled over in morning practice. He is expected to miss only two to four weeks.

Double Ouch!

Rookie DE Marcus Spears left practice today on a cart after a teammate rolled over his right leg in a running drill. MRIs were ordered for Spears’ ankle, knee and groin to determine the severity of his injuries.
