Done Before He Begins?

August 9, 2005

There is another hold-your-breath watch on at Oxnard. RT Jacob Rogers has reinjured one of his seemingly chronic shoulders. The extent of his injury is unknown. The team’s site did not report if Rogers reinjured the same shoulder he had surgically repaired this offseason. Rogers was not allowed to participate in contact drills until camp, so this development is troubling. Right tackle has been a revolving door since Bill Parcells became coach, and Rogers strong first week offered hope that he would finally plug the hole there.

Update: Jerry Jones has confirmed that Rogers did indeed reinjure his surgically-repaired shoulder.
