The New NFL

September 4, 2005

Sometimes it resembles New Coke. Were this a traditional NFL schedule, we would be nearing halftime for the first round games. We would be checking out our roto teams and settling in for the Cowboys-Chargers game in two hours time.

I know I’ll like it a lot better in February, when the Super Bowl will be gracing a traditionally barren Sunday. Right now, though, I’d like a double helping of pro football.
