There are some interesting matchups to watch. The Eagles play the Raiders, which should give us a sense of Oakland’s and Philadelphia’s relative strengths. List other interesting things you see.

    Man, McNabb is getting mauled. I heard on the radio that he has a “sports hernia” (whatever that is) from last week as well as the bruised sternum. Maybe we see Detmer in week 5???

    Yep JK he’s over-throwing recievers and looks very tentitive,much less mobility!They said he’s gonna have this all year long,if anyone puts a “hat” into his chest he’s gonna be all messed up!

    The Philly - Raiders game is very interesting:

    1. David Akers got hurt and it’s changed the Eagles game plan completely. They’re passing the ball at about a 4-1 ratio to runs. The Raiders are doing a good job of keeping McNabb in the pocket;
    2. McNabb is not right. He’s not running much and his passes are either sailing or short hopping. The announcers are talking about his groin. Whatever is wrong, he’s throwing all arm and has to double clutch and load up to throw even short passes;
    3. The Eagles draw nearly even by — you guessed it — running the ball. But they’ve got LB Mark Simoneau kicking and he blew the PAT.

    The Eagles D has the Raiders under control for the most part, so anything is possible here. But it’s a weird game. 10-6 Oakland at the half.

    It seems to be a good weekend for some football, alot good games going on right now, I’m watching the Atl/Buff games. Although Vick just threw a pick, Magahee looking good, almost a hundred yards already and they just started the third Quarter.

    burnett wasn’t listed on the injury report so I couldn’t imagine him not being active.

    Burnett and Price are both active. Noll and Peterman are the inactives I forgot in the other thread.

Got something to say?
