I must say that regardless of what happens from here on out, I’m excited about seeing what Romo has, and I’m hopeful that even if he’s not the starter for years to come, that he proves to be a valuable backup.

3rd!
To continue a discussion, Bladsoe ain’t gona be startin for nobody next year. So he can choose to be a backup (and be one twisted knee away from poss. redemption) or retire.
What team is going to have him start or give a draft pick?
So-if he’s smart, he’ll accept his role, take the $money$ and and wait. And I think he’s smart.
Now, if we draft a young guy with a lot of potential, he’s gone, but that seems very unlikely.
mlittle, Two years ago on this blog when I first stated that Romo would one day be the starter ,everyone thought I was crazy. All he did was out play Bledsoe and Henson in every pre-season game and had commentators such as Aikman,Laufenburg,Phil Simms and John Madden glow about his talent. This guy is beast and has a refuse to lose attitude. He spreads the ball around and scans the field much better than Bledsoe.Aikman took 29 games as a starter to show promise, this will be Romo’s first. He has an unbelieveable mastering of the playbook so don’t be surprized to see some new plays. He’ll make mistakes, but his talent will see through. He’s going to suprize alot of people! Cowboys 34 Panthers 24!!!

Interesting stat that probably means nothing: P. Manning reached 35,000 passing yards in 135 games, just behind Marino (134 games) and ahead of Bledsoe (145). Followed by Farve and Moon at 147.
One more thing. Total Super Bowls played by that list is only four.
Favre played in two. Bledsoe started one. Marino played in one. Manning and Moon have none to their name. And every one of them has played at least 12 years. Peyton hasn’t played that long, but barring injury, he will.

I sat next to a guy who drank way too much, screamed so loud his face turned red and spit flew out of his mouth. In fact, most of the fans in the nosebleed section that day met this same description.
That being said, It is almost as much fun to watch the Eagles now as it is to watch us win. I can’t help but thinking about these people and how miserable they are right now.

If we do need to draft one, then it means our season went south and we’ll draft high. I hope Romo makes all that a moot point, so we can concentrate on the O-Line and FS this off-season.

Not a bad pass rush there…
I miss Keyshawn
so far so good
Outstanding!
look at that!!!!!!!!!
nice!!!!!!!!!!!
KD startes at FS
excellent rush
Keith davis started….hey we stopped them..3 and out
defense looked good on that posession - getting pressure on the qb
why cant we do that sht every game. good sht happens when you get some pressure
good start D, forced the 3 and out
1-1
Damn Owens is strong.
romo and To saying they already have chemistry, which it seemed TO and DB never really had
2-2
here we go with the dumb sh1t
one thing I notice about romo is he uses everybody
wooo
damn penalty…
romo looks good
Better not have 50 yards in penalties tonight. But I don’t mind a couple violent penalties against that front four…lets hurt those guys.
I think Delhomme just missed Keyshawn on that 1st down, I didnt see much more pressure than usual….here we go with the penalties…
3 passes 3 different receivers
If it werent for that penalty we would be driving.
Romo looks great thus far
Better not have 50 yards in penalties but I don’t mind a couple violent penalties against that front four…let’s hurt those guys.
i dont think the rookie is going to get better on the sideline
damn sacks
good job flo….you dumb moron
dang at least Romo looks good.
Here comes the MVP.
Damn penalties!!!!!
Not bad. He didnt throw ad make a bad play.
Id rather have him hold it
Flozell Adams again!!!! geeze if he can’t block put in McQ!!!
Don’t know why my last post went twice…
Nice coverage.
f ing penalties, kill the momentum
i really want to know why we are so damn dumb
tony romo didn’t throw the pass, brilliant!
Sharkz,
McQ is inactive. Watching it on TV with Watkins. LOL
Flo needs to step up.
I wonder when MCQ will start over Flo.
He has been so up and down
This team needs to stay out of obvious passing/long yardage situations because they can’t block. So no more penalties PLEASE!
I think Newman will be on SSmith all night.
Lets go Newman
Have we abandon the running game early?
almost pick, good job.
pressure makes good sht happen. this is the most aggressive we have looked.
tnew shouldve ad an int
They keep covering Smith this good and he might throw another fit and get ejected again…..lol
