Saturday Playoff Open Thread

The Manchurian Cowboy:
In the Redskins’ locker room after their 35-14 loss to Seattle, kicker Shaun Suisham kept muttering, “Jerry Jones is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life…”
You have to wonder if the former Cowboy was a Jones sleeper? Suisham’s miss of a short field goal early in the fourth quarter denied his team a 17-13 lead, three plays after the Redskins had recovered a bouncing kickoff on Seattle’s 18 yard line. Seattle was able to find their bearings and score 21 points in the final seven minutes.
The Seahawks now go to Green Bay. Dallas awaits the winner of the Giants/Bucs tilt. Washington goes home.
Somewhere, Jerry is holding a full deck of red queens and laughing.

From previous thread,
Portis is stuffed going for 3rd and short. Very nice defensive play by Seattle.
I guess makes me the 1st post.
Not a fumble
You live in a city with NO sports history when you pull Jamie Moyer! out to get the crowd fired up!
Ahhh-Sh Alexander didn’t fumble after all-go Hawks!
I’m sick of hearing about Gibbs and Taylor.
Plus, they’re the Skins.
Looked like there may have been some holding on that TD…
Is a ref missing after that injury?
I can’t believe the mediots and all the others out there that think the redskins are going to do anything. This guy Collins is a career backup, there’s a reason for that.
I called Minnesota falling by the wayside because of their QB, when everyone in the media and elsewhere were on that bandwagon. I’ve been saying all week the same about the Skins. They’re going to get smoked by Seattle, and the mediots will look like they always do…..morons jumping on the newest best thing.
Who do you folks like to win this game?
#34 held Skins # 29 definitely……
Toast, Seattle easy.
Seattle wins. Tampa bay beats the Gents and we beat Tampa.
Seattle will never win a SB with LIME GREEN on their unis. I see them winning today, then getting obliterated at GB
Is it just me, or is the site REALLY slow today? Taking a minute to reload.
Bullshit call by Refs.
Great D for a loss on Porter falling the stupid call.
Seems to be working fine for me.
Skins are getting killed.
At least they get to home and be with their families and sulk! hehehehe!
Portis looks gimpy
I hope the croud in Dallas is as noisy and as supporting as the guys in Seattle…..wow.
Not to take away from the game.
But found an interesting article…
Could be an interesting off-season.
http://www.star-telegram.com/332/story/391761.html
Yep, that’s real home field advantage. Their crowd is awesome.
Well I hope Seattle doesn’t give this game away now.
I am kind of high on the Seattle D, so I think they will be okay.
that’s a helluva sack!!!
Boy that lime green is ugly. What are they thinking anyway with that color. That’s Seattle for ya though.
I find myself rooting for a rematch with the Redskins even though I’ve been telling myself I want the Seahawks to win. I guess the Giants scare me a little more than the Redskins. I haven’t watched much of Tampa Bay all year, but I’m not too worried about them.
But the most important thing is to play well. If we do that we shouldn’t have a problem with anyone.
if jj fires WP i will be sick …that would be a huuuuge mistake
damn t why arent any of my posts showing !!!!!
I dont wanna play against Santana Moss….
we might get the Skins after all
Looks like we might have to play the skins again next week. Even more important that TO is back.
good grief (skins)
the old suisham is BACK! lol
Okay the more I think about it, the more I do NOT want to play the skins again.
We won a very close game the first time we played them even with the 4 TD’s by TO.
We got killed by them in the season finale game.
The Skins are playing with inspiration for the fallen teammate.
Just doesn’t sit well with me.
I guess we will just have to rely on our Boys to get it done.
Suisham misses the FG. Could be huge for Seattle.
Cooley should have made that sliding catch at the three. That was a killer.
Two good passes by Hasselback. This is a huge drive for Seattle. They need points now. Seattle seems a little inspired now.
Skins intercept a second. Both by Landry.
This is simply ridiculous…….sigh
Seattle needs to stop them here. Can they do it?
BIGGGG STTOOPP by Seattle. This could be huge.
Seattle needs to take time off the clock and get points on the board. NO MORE INTERCEPTIONS!
Great Catch by Burleson.
TD SEATTLE!!!!! Hasselback to Hackett! Didn’t take much time off the clock, but I’ll take it.
TD Hawks !! Redskins have to drive for a Touchdown to tie.
2 point conversion is good. It’s a 2 score game fellas.
21-14 only, 1 score
I realize that, but they a 2pt conversion to beat them. That in my mind is a two score game. Either way a lot of pressure on the skins.
Cartwright just returned a motherload. Flag….
That is a huge flag.
game over homeyz
Dagger!
Interception by Seattle. TD!!!!!
GAME OVER BOYS!!
Looks like the Giants or Tampa Bay.
Who do you guys prefer?
cya next year skins
Skins sucky lineman is hurt. What a p*ssy!
Would you agree with me now that it is a 2 score game? lol
Like I said….lifetime backup…..enough said. Chips are down, pressure is on, game is over Mr Backup….
u called it bush! : ) and the very guy you mentioned (backup QB) is the one that ended up blowing the game for them…assuming that wasn’t some kind of blown route by the WR
Whatever GAme is OVer! lol
Collins is HIT HARD for a SACK!!
Portis is hurt….
oh well he’ll have the entire off-season to recover
Is it my imagination or does Chris Collins seem to be dead skin fan?
that Santana Moss is playing some inspired football isn’t he
Moss just made a great catch. He looked like he was going to fly there for a bit.
OKay NOW THE GAME IS OVER!
Collinsworth is on the “inspired” redskin storyline, like the rest of the mediots. You get the feeling he is trying to will them to winning, thereby perpetuating his and the other mediots fantasies.
Okinawa - i don’t know - i’ve always just thought of him as sort of a wormy little twit…normally i can take him or leave him
but on that one pass interference call against the seahawks…the replay in slo-mo is clearly showing the seahawks defender’s left hand never touching the redskins receiver, and as it’s happening you hear collinsworth saying something to the effect of “he grabs the receiver’s arm right there”
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a QB “float” so many passes before. I’m amazed the game is even this close at this point. The Seahawks have missed several opportunities to intercept other floaters.
Rejoice my Cowboy’s brother’s, Collinsworth will no longer be heard the rest of the season. Now if only we could get rid of that buffon Joe Buck.
I project that Seattle takes out GB.
Jacksonville wins tonight.
Another interception for a TD to seal the Deal. Game over.
Laron Landry- Very Good
Ken Hamlin - Good
Roy Williams- Average
Keith Davis- Average
Williams contract is holding the team hostage. The defense may honestly be a tiny bit better with Keith Davis playing SS.
Laron Landry was excellent in the playoff loss today.
Shut up Collinsworth….phooey on them skins.
Nothing is sweeter than seeing the foreskins fans having very little hope during the first part of the game, then thinking they might win, then being crushed at the end.
Seattle’s DB’s play very aggressively and seem to be right there in great coverage more times than not. Not every time but many many times.
Marcus Trufant is very good and the other guys seem to be doing a very good job.
Trufant is a top Free Agent cover corner along with Nnamdi Asomugha and Asante Samuel.
Does anyone think Jerry Jones will go after ANY top level Free Agents? Personally, I have no idea if we can considering all the in house guys and guys needing extensions coming up.
sgt, yeah, can Collinsworth milk anymore from this tragedy? The cow is dry Cris, STFU!
Of course he just jumped over to the Seahawks bandwagon, and mentions the Cowboys playing poorly down the stretch, and possibly no TO, blah, blah, blah. In my mind, Collinsworth is nothing more than a cheap whore, what a sell out.
Did anyone notice that the Skins lost by 21 points? There’s that number again. I guess Sean Taylor really was on the field with the Skins. Only this time he was rooting for the Seahogs. Ahhh, isn’t it grand???
I really doubt we could afford Trufant but I have read at least one report that said the Seahogs might just let him walk. I doubt it and especially after this game. We need to find out who the DB’s coach of the Seahogs is and hire him next year to replace Bowles.
I’m rooting for the Jaguars in the night game, hate the Steelers as I’m sure most of you do. Everyone is in love with the Jaguars, but I think the Steelers win this one, based on their extensive playoff experience.
Hey Redskins fans:
I am sick and tired of all this inspirational talk about #21.
As awful as the story about Sean Taylor is, I’m glad I don’t have to hear about it any longer.
It brings my heart gladness to see the team that so enjoyed beating us last week get sent home.
See-ya!!
Amen!!
Guys were talking about Jordy Nelson a couple of threads ago. To me, and to be honest, I only saw K-State play once against Mizzou and although I noticed him he didn’t really stand out that much to me, but Jordy Nelson is a perfect example of something I’ve been talking about for a few years. The difference between “game speed” and “combine speed”. Savvy football fans like we’ve got here know the difference but it always amazes me how there can be such a difference between what scouts get with a stop watch and what we see from these guys on the field. We all saw the YouTube link of that long TD catch by Nelson over Talib, one of the best CB’s in the nation. Did he look slow to anyone on that TD?? And yet I’ve already seen two scouting reports that have Nelson listed as running in the 4.6’s. They say he isn’t much of a deep threat. Here’s one scouting report:
http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/jordynelson.html
mlittle,
It’s even better that the team that beat us by 21 points and called it a “sign”, even had A**hole Ed Werder talking about it on ESPN radio this morning, got beat by 21 points!!! Now that’s a sign I can believe in!!!
I’m not one to gloat, but there was some seriously delusional skins fans around my area this week. It should be pretty quiet now.
And the news gets better for them, they’re well over the cap for next year, though they do have some draft picks for once.
Collins picked a heck of a time to meltdown. I was thinking suisam was having a good year too, but man, it took a nose dive for the skins after his miss.
OK, maybe we can argue the “defense wins championships” thing, but after watching that game, I’d at least say it sure as hell helps.
And dallas has a defense.
hey mlittle,
when i was walking down the ramp at the skins game last week, i kept telling all the obnoxious fans, “good luck next week, you’re going to need it.”
Most of them were too drunk to remember, but i hope my words are ringing in their ears right now.
I think they used up all their luck in weeks 14-17.
Just watched a clip of CB Leodis McKelvin from Troy return a punt for a TD. This guy is fast. Love to add a guy with his speed in the draft. BTW, ain’t YouTube great??? LOL.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBZppozX2WE
http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/cb/leodismckelvin.html
I’ve ben busy moving and havent been in here in a few days. Raf you made my day with both your manchurian thread,
and with the awsome news about the 08 camp comming back to Oxnard! Yes! I just want to say that I hope all these job interviews are not distracting to our coaching staff. There should be a rule that no one can be aproached until they’re done with football for the year.
LOL jarhead. I’m having visions of poor widdle wedskin fans tossing and turning in bed with the words of a Cowboy fan echoing throughout their nightmares. Well, good news is that they don’t have to rush Campbell back now. He’ll have plenty of time to get him widdle knee healthy now. Hahahahahahahahahahahah……
kameleono,
I dont think they would have made it with campbell still healthy.
Collins is an UFA. His meltdown in a playoff game and age will hurt him, but I wonder if the skins bring him back with their cap issues.
Oh yeah, one more thing…
Anyone with any thoughts on tonight’s game?
Like I said, I’m rooting for the Jag’s, but think the Steelers win it based on experience.
Who do you want Giants or Tampa? I’m thinking Tampa, although the Giants without Shockey doesn’t scare me. I think they blew their load against the Patsies.
BTW fellas,
Just so you know how the local sportswriters work around here, they’re the opposite of the dallas writers (in that they have serious homer goggles).
I didnt read one article all week about how tough of a place seattle is to play in, about hasslebeck’s playoff experience, or about the serious seahawks defense. It was all like the following:
“The Seahawks are a pleasant 10-6 team from a weak division, but the Redskins should win this first-round battle for the simplest of all reasons. They’re just a better team…”
“For the past month, the Redskins have been playing stifling defense and getting high-level, interception-free quarterbacking — a winning playoff formula if there ever was one. The hardest part of the task ahead is reeling off three victories on foreign turf — Seattle, Dallas after that and then probably Green Bay. But the Redskins match up much better against the Seahawks than they did two years ago, largely because of Todd Collins’ play; and let’s not forget, they nearly won at Dallas and Green Bay earlier in the season.”
And my favorite:
“Dear Seahawks fans,
They’re back. The Redskins are returning to java town and this time with a quarterback. You have three days left in your season before worrying about the draft, free agency and minicamp.
Yes, that water on your cheeks won’t be raindrops for once. It’s called tears. Since Seahawks fans are a bunch of crybabies, you should recognize the look.”
Can you imagine a dallas sportswriter writing something like that last one to the people of NY or TB??
bushpilot,
my theory is that the gints will lose tomorrow precisely b/c they blew their load against the patriots.
Jarhead,
Yeah, I don’t think they’d have made the playoffs either with Campbell. I was as tired as anyone about the over the top crap regarding the Deadskins and their backup QB and their “magical” season, but there’s no doubt that if it wasn’t for Collins they wouldn’t have been there.
hines ward just did an impersonation of the “immaculate reception.”
kameleono,
read through post 84.
thats the typical crap being fed to the skins faithful all week.
Whats worse is, THEY BUY IT. Its like a drug to these folks. They’re delusional about this stuff.
jarhead, those are some good quotes…hehehe. Like I said before the game, this guy was a career backup QB. I guess in addition to your points about Seattle’s defense and the stadium with home field advantage, the writer’s really had their homer goggles on.
The playoffs are a different level, and he proved unable to play to that level. As I mentioned earlier, have you ever seen so many passes that floated out of a QB’s hand? Have a sup of coffee kind of air time. I thought for sure there would be even more INT’s
Quick, tell Romo the Cowboys can win if he doesn’t throw interceptions for TDs. That’s all there is to it so far this playoff season.
Big Ben isn’t playing very big so far tonight.
jarhead,
That’s something I was thinking about too. Would it really be so hard for a DMN sportswriter to write something positive about the Cowboys?? As a group they’re the most obnoxious bunch of negative a**holes that have ever gotten together to write about sports. Not just the Cowboys but all Dallas area sports teams. Throw the Star-Tele into that grouping as well.
That jerk McMahon from the DMN blog wrote that his biggest problem with Wade Phillips is that he’s insecure. That he doesn’t need to keep reminding people that the Cowboys are 13-3 all the time. I beg to differ. The way the media acts it’s almost like we’re 5-11 again. They’ve refused to give our HC any respect for the job he’s done and have totally downgraded our accomplishments. Nothing exemplifies this further than Calvin Watkins and Goose. Watkins would pick the Cowboys to lose games based on the fact that he thought they’d go 9-7 and he didn’t want to deviate from that no matter how well they were playing. Then Goose would pick against the Cowboys based on the weather in the city they were playing. What a total group of jerks.
SDCowboys,
Yes! Somebody got my movie reference.
Interesting stat I heard the other day (dont remember the specifics)
Over the last few years, QBs making their first playoff start have only won 2 times (the losses are in the teens).
One of the winners was delhomme (against dallas in tuna’s first year).
Cant remember the other one.
Good to know romo is not making his first playoff start.
BTW,
J-ville up 21-7 on the steelers.
Quick,
Which RB coming out this year is the most like Maurice Jones Drew? 98 yard kickoff. Tough inside running and now a long TD reception.
I want that guy’s clone as Marion’s running partner next year.
Rafael,
JJ’s “sleeper” picked a heck of a time to go active.
How did that DB let Jones Drew beat him on the sideline. Talk about flat footed.
Nice to see Jack Del Rio modelling the NFL’s Arthur Fonzerelli line.
Looks like Gerrard will be the Third QB to win a playoff game in his first playoff start.
Great, the Steelers will be out of the hunt if this keeps up.
kameleono,
here is the best quote from a skins fan (on one of their blogs):
“Seattle’s D is better than everyone thought.”
Reality is a bitch huh skins guy?
Steelers getting the beat down right now. This could get very ugly in the 2nd half.
So did we see a future member of our secondary over college bowl week?
Maybe this stud Talib from Kansas?
Or Justin King from Penn St?
Or perhaps one of our receivers for next year is currently a Seattle Seahawk……..
DJ Hackett
He looked awful good, maybe a nice #2 WR
local comcast sports net is showing the redskins “playoff mix” with some guy rapping about how great the skins are, complete with highlights of the week 17 game.
Man, this is classic.
I just cant talk draft or next week’s game tonight, this is just too sweet.
here’s another great quote from a skin’s blog:
“Tom Cruise was at the game….always a bad sign for the Skins”
We’ve got jsimpson, and the skins have tom cruise.
CowboyMan, LMAO!!
I’m with you. I think our success in the playoffs is going to come down to how often we turn the ball over. Troy’s first Super Bowl he didn’t throw a single INT in the entire postseason. Romo just needs to do his thing. Avoid those stupid throws like Hasselback was making today. The ones where we’re all screaming “What they hell was he looking at there??” type of throws. Get up early then get up often.
mlittle,
You beat me to it!! I forgot to post the same thing. I think it was Tim Wilson that first brought up DJ Hackett being a FA. He sure looked pretty good tonight.
Maybe its the beers…..
But I’m psyched for whoever we play next week with the way our defense is playing lately and T.Glenn back with Owens.
Let’s go dudes!!
hahahaha good one jarhead. I don’t know how you do it, living in Skin’s land. I used to live on the east coast before I moved to Alaska, so I know what it’s like living around the enemy(Giants). Up here, there’s plenty of Hawk’s fans to go around, but they aren’t too knowledgable when it comes to the game. It’s the closest team, so they gravitate towards that.
pick for jags,
theres that defense again.
bushpilot,
a bunch of really obnoxious seahawks fans have infiltrated this skins blog i found and are pouring it on.
they sound alot like the skins fans did last week, and the skins fans are complaining about them.
I’m sorry…
but I’m not at all afraid (and Roy Williams probably isn’t either) of the Giants without Shockey.
Bring it on !!!!
burmafrd,
I saw your post. You used good logic.
Re: #77
Kameleon o,
I read where Kiper said McKelvin ran in the 4.35-4.40 range in spring practice.
Re: #84
Jarhead,
That was some good stuff right there!
Here is a number you can give to the Redskin fans around you. Before you give it to them, tell them that people will be there to assist them in this time of trama.
1-800SEEYA
Kameleon o,
I am so loving people like McMahan dogging the team. I love it. Keep talking. Keep it up Dallas media. We suck.
Could you possibly fathom the idea of Jerry Jones firing Wade Phillips in order to promote Jason Garrett?!?!
Raf,
I’ll bet Chris Johnson from E. Carolina would fit the bill. Maybe Justin Forsett from Cal.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWiduRYw88k&feature=related
mlittle, be wary of what you wish for. Roy might turn Kevin Boss in to a super-star. NOT, Bucs win.
hold the phones,
steelers just picked off the jaqs.
Forsett played well as a receiver also, as I recall.
I still like WR Desean Jackson!!!
mlittle,
I read that same article. I just think these mediots, especially Dallas area mediots, are blatantly overlooking the fact that Jerry is one of the most loyal guys in the business. It doesn’t matter if you’re a coach or a player, if you play well for him or as a coach if you produce for him then he’s always gonna have your back. I know that everyone likes to point to Jerry and Jimmy but the truth of that is they both just couldn’t co-exist anymore. Jerry doesn’t reward success with a pink slip.
The steelers look mighty slow tonight.
That’s nothing we could ever acuse the Cowboys of.
jaqs up 28-10.
steelers aint built to erase big deficits.
I cant imagine the titans beating SD tomorrow so its starting to look like jaqs in NE next week.
NE crushed them in the playoffs last year.
man, jaqs defense is playing good.
i seem to remember alot of media pundits this week talking about the “myth” of defense in the playoffs.
wonder what they’ll be saying this week.
Always seems to work this way. The team that plays the fastest seems to win. The Jags look fast on D and offense right now. The Squeelers don’t.
…and then Santonio Holmes shows his speed. LOL
4th and 12 to santonio holmes, TD.
steelers wont die yet, but they better figure out how to stop the jaqs.
why blitz on 4th and 12? they want you to blitz.
good game now.
im off, good night.
Let’s assume that the Chargers beat the titans tomorrow..
That means the jags have to hold on here, they have a better chance against NE than the Pits.
Don’t ya think
I do think mlittle. I’ll bet Garrard is wishing he had a decent TE to dump that ball off to. A good TE in the draft could make that offense go go go.
Can the Jags possibly miss anymore tackles???
Roethlisberger is throwing way too many passes. Where’s the run.
They’re in trouble (in case you hadn’t noticed).
the jags spent a 1st round pick on mercedes lewis in 2006 for that TE. then they took jones-drew in the 2nd
It’s slipping away Jack. Del Rio had better get his team to stop the pissing matches and start playing football again.
Is there anything like a good playoff football game?!?!
I know that they actually have a TE on the roster Rparr. He just ain’t any good.
interference on ward on that 4th down play
wow that was total B.S. … Ward had his hand ALL in that Jaguar defender’s facemask
Im so glad that Wash lost by 21. Gibbs said that they beat Dallas by 21 cause it was divine intervention from Sean Taylor, being that his number was 21. I guess he wanted his team to lose by 21 today. A team of destiny that gets clobbered in their first round playoff game. I’m so happy!!!!
It’s the same whether it’s Pop Warner or the Pros……
It’s all up to the refs!!!
Guess those refs have decided that they want the Squeelers to get a shot at SB #6. They let Ward get a facemask on the Jags DB and then the called the DB for interference. Pats better watch out. The refs got a new favorite.
Boy, are those refs blind or what. Ward had his hand inside the facemask and drug the pour DB along. Then Ward gets the call. BS all the way.
Refs are ruining football.
Refs have already decided who they want to win this game. Might as well pack it in Jags…
The biggest problem we still have in football is that you can’t challenge penalties. There needs to be a way to over turn some of these blatant screw jobs. It doesn’t come anymore chickensh** than that. WR commits a facemask penalty on a DB and the DB gets flagged for it setting up a TD by the Squeelers.
Oh wow!! The refs called a penalty on the Squeelers!! Of course it was after the Jag WR already caught the ball. But thanks for playing anyway refs.
I think its over. The Jags D has been on the field way to long and I dont know if they have enough left to stop them.
Well so much for that. How about this, I dont think the Jags offense can matriculate the ball down the field against this stout Pitt D.
Come on only 2 first downs. If you cant do that you dont deserve to win.
WOW!!! What a run by Garrard
Nice D Pittsburgh
Get the TD now. Forget the FG.
Scmucks, showing Romo’s drop
shmucks that is.
I don’t trust scobee. He looks like a walking choke to me.
Scobee is a hero in Jacksonville right now.
If the Steelers had just kicked the extra point on the last 2 TD’s, it would be tied at 31 now. Tomlin will be questioned ad infinitum now if they lose.
Game Over!!! Beat the Patsies next week.
Big Ben..cost Pittsburgh the game, and not just a minute ago.
Praise the lord. The refs didn’t steal the game.
Can’t see the Titans beating SD.
Whoaaaa Nelly. Old Meathead hasn’t had a great day at QB for the Squeelers, has he?? Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of a**holes. At least they don’t have to fly home. They can just hop in a cab or something. They just have to look on the bright side. LOL
Del Rio is my coach of the year. Having the guts to make the change at QB has made all the difference. Starting Brady doesn’t take any guts at all.
On a Cowboys note:
I couldn’t be happier that Dallas definitly won’t play the Redskins. For some reason that is the main team that I didn’t want to see Dallas play. I personally am not nearly as worried about the Giants or Tampa Bay.
I said Big Ben would be the difference in the game. I just thought he would affect it positively.
Beating the Gints 3 times might be problematic, especially since the team hasn’t played a solid game since halftime with Green Bay.
Re: #118
mlittle,
DeShaun Jackson will most likely be a top 15 pick. He will most likely run in the low 4.3s. They say he has been clocked at 4.2. Ginn went at #9.
Here is a name for you, and he plays opposite of your guy at Cal.
LaVelle Hawkins 5-11 186 4.4
Hawkins stock is rising. He had a very nice year. He is being projected, at this point, as a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He is similar in size and athleticism to Mario Manningham of Michigan. Manningham says he is staying at Michigan. We shall see.
larry,
Here are the top tackles according to NFL Draft Scout:
1. Jake Long 6-7 315 Michigan
2. Ryan Clady 6-6 316 Boise State
3. Jeff Otah 6-6 340 Pittsburgh
4. Chris Williams 6-6 315 Vanderbilt
5. Sam Baker 6-6 315 USC
Williams didn’t give up a single sack in the SEC this year. If you wanted to go tackle, you have some options in round 1. The first four guys are projected to go in round 1 at this point. Baker is a 1-2 round
projection.
Pour Madden, thats two games in a row they showed the Franco Harris TD that beat the Raiders many years back.
Correction #164
Chris Williams gave up one sack against Georgia. He has given up 2 sacks in two years as the starting LT at Vanderbilt. He is a coaches first team All-SEC choice for the 2007 season.
Elwood,
The Giants will lose to Tampa Bay. They will not have O’Hare at center or Madison at corner. They went all out last week and were all hyped up. The Bucs have been getting ready to play this game for three weeks. The Bucs will be sky high, and Galloway will get one.
New York 9
Tampa Bay 30
Does jeff garcia scare anyone?
He’d love to beat Owens again and end Dallas’ run before it begins.
Yes, Jerry Jones programmed Suisham to miss that field goal! LOL
“Manchurian” Suisham!!!
