Today, look for the Giants’ defense to focus on stopping the run. It sounds like they may gamble by forcing Tony Romo to beat them.
“I’m very comfortable with that,” Romo said. “(I) accept that responsibility every week, and I expect nothing else. I think that’s what you have to do every week in the NFL, because if you don’t stop the run, you’re probably not going to win the football game.”
Starting the month against New York is really perfect for Romo. He’s won four of five regular-season starts against the Giants and has a 100-plus rating in three of the past four meetings, including last December’s two-TD, no-interception outing in a 20-8 win at Texas Stadium.
In two starts at the Meadowlands, Romo has passed for 504 yards and four TDs. Dallas won both times.
